Emergency medical services | Mountain Rescue Black Forest and German Red Cross Every rider is obliged to report accidents to the nearest course or mountain rescue post. The route is marked with kilometer signs at intervals of two kilometers. In case of an emergency, the kilometer marker must be provided when calling for assistance. The rescue vehicles travel the same route as the participants. Therefore, there may be temporary blockages or disruptions on the route during accident assistance. It is important to clear the way for the rescue vehicles and to follow the instructions of the rescue service. In addition to the mountain rescue vehicles, there are emergency physicians on enduro motorcycles with corresponding markings on the route. To avoid search operations for injured riders at the end of the event, all riders who prematurely end the race and do not reach the finish line must surrender their race number with transponder to the nearest course post. |
